Cleo’s Place – A Fisherman’s Paradise on the South Holston River
Welcome to Cleo’s Place, a beautifully updated cottage perched above the legendary South Holston River in Bristol Tennessee—one of the top-rated fly fishing destinations in the United States. Cleo's Place offers 2 comfortable bedrooms with 3 beds, it sleeps up to 4. There is a shared bathroom with walk-in shower and another shared 1/2 bath. Starter Soap and Shampoos are provided. You will find a Coffee Bar in the kitchen that includes Ground Coffee, K-Cups, assorted Sweeteners and Creamers and To-Go Cups.

Note: There are steps to enter into home thru the front door. Once inside all one level. Also, steps off/onto the Deck. Basement is not part of the Rental. Also, we are in a rural area with spotty cell reception inside house so WiFi calling is recommended when inside home.
Fishing along South Holston River in front of Pad 1 and Pad 2 is restricted with no fishing allowed per TVA due to the spawning season between November 1 - February 1. Fishing on other parts of the South Holson River including Pad 4 and Pad 5 is allowed year round.

The cottage is great right on the river and very clean

Long time guest
We recently stayed at Cleo's Place on the South Holston River, Bristol, Tn. Cleo's Place is now part of Papaws Fishing Pad and we feel you can not find a better selection of cabins to stay in Bristol and Bluff City Tennessee. We have been staying at Bob's cabins since 2015 and every stay has been a pleasant, enjoyable experience.
Second Stay
This was our second stay at Cleo’s Place. It is absolutely perfect. We love sitting on the porch by the river. The house has everything you need and is beautifully decorated. We will be back!
Deck Overlooking River
We had a great weekend relaxing on the deck overlooking the river. The cabin was very clean and well appointed. I suggest bringing binoculars to watch the bald eagles!
Wonderful Porch
Exactly as described. Well furnished. Excellent location. Loved sitting on the porch and the breeze from the river was cooling on the hot summer day. Fishing was great. I really enjoyed the stay.
Great Getaway
We had a wonderful stay. The house was very clean, I taught myself how to fly fish and caught my first brown trout.It was a beautiful getaway from our busy lives for a few days listening to the river all day.I highly recommend staying here.
Getaway
Sepectular view of the river, it was so relaxing we only left one time to have supper, the next time we go we already agreed to have all are meals there. Unbelievably clean, this has to be the cleanness place we've ever stayed and I'm 66.My wife has already said this will our mountain getaway and i agree
Long Weekend
We enjoyed our long weekend at this home. The extras were a nice surprise especially the lovely coffee station with anything you needed to get your day started.

Cleo's was one of the best vacations we ever had. We have been coming to Bristol for almost twenty years to attend the NHRA race and Cleo's and Leo's were the best accommodations we ever had. Cleo's is not only beautiful on the outside with the river view, but beautiful on the inside as well!! The house was spotlessly clean, and many amenities included!! Thank you to Pappaw's for providing the perfect vacation house and all of his assistance when we needed to stay another day!!!
